Responsibilities Direct pharmacy operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization.

-Direct the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.

-Accountable for department staffing and capacity planning.

-Oversee the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).

-Utilize broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensures accountability for the department's compliance.

-Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.

-Implement specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement.

-Participate in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment.

-Implement and monitor compliance with revenue integrity processes.

Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
-Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date and in good standing required.

Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
-Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:
-5 years of experience required.
-10 years of experience preferred.
-2 years of leadership or management experience required.
-5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
