Description and Objectives:The ASHP Residency Program Design and Conduct Workshop focuses on the review of the accreditation standard for the design and conduct of a pharmacy residency program. Objectives of the Workshop include:
- Identify, describe, and apply the accreditation requirements related to:
- The Accreditation Standard
- residency program purpose;
- program structure;
- learning experiences;
- preceptor roles, feedback and evaluation;
- resident development plans; and
- continuous residency program improvement.
The Workshop is designed for residency program directors, coordinators, preceptors, and residents from all types of PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs.
