Happy Pharmacy Month!
As we begin a new year under ICHP President Andrew Merker’s theme, “Let’s Start Cooking!”, we invite you to help us create something special for our pharmacy community.
In his installation address, Andrew reflected on the difference between baking and cooking. Baking teaches us the recipe: the precision, knowledge, and processes that are foundational to our profession. Cooking, on the other hand, is about creativity, adaptability, and knowing how to use the ingredients we’ve gathered through our education, training, experiences, and relationships.
As pharmacy professionals, we do both every day.
And now, we'd like to bring that theme to life in a fun and meaningful way.
Share Your Favorite Recipe
We are creating an ICHP Digital Cookbook that will be gifted to our members, and we would love for you to contribute a favorite recipe.
Whether it's:
- A treasured family recipe
- A quick weeknight meal
- A dish that reminds you of home
- A crowd-pleasing dessert
- A healthy go-to after a long shift
We want to showcase the recipes and stories that make our membership unique.
Just as no single ingredient creates a memorable dish, no single member creates the strength of ICHP. This cookbook will be a celebration of the diverse experiences, traditions, and creativity that each of you brings to our profession.
How to Submit
Please submit:

- Instructions
- Optional photo of the finished dish
- Optional note about why this recipe is meaningful to you
