Learning Objectives for Pharmacists: and Pharmacy Technicians:

1. Identify patients who could benefit from HIV PrEP.
2. Select an initial HIV PrEP therapy, appropriate counseling points, and monitoring parameters.
3. Summarize requirements to dispense PrEP under the Illinois standing order.

1. Recall FDA-approved HIV PrEP medications.
2. Outline where individuals can receive HIV PrEP services.
3. Discuss necessary labs for PrEP.

The Illinois Council of Health System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.
