PROMOTION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION ON HEALTH ISSUES

ICHP recognizes that pharmacists have the knowledge and opportunity to promote and participate in community health programs related to safe medication use, poison prevention, immunizations, smoking cessation, health screening, emergency preparedness and others. Consistent with Healthy People 2010 goals, ICHP encourages and supports pharmacist participation in health promotion and disease prevention programs.
