The Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. To receive your CPE credit, you will need to complete the online evaluation forms at www.CESally.com and then your credit will automatically be reported to CPE Monitor. Instructions for completing an online evaluation and receiving CPE will be provided at the meeting. You must complete an evaluation to receive credit. Participants will be required to sign in at the start of the program.

Target Audience: This knowledge-based activity was developed for Health-System Pharmacists and Technicians.

Reminder:
PTCB is changing their continuing pharmacy education requirements in 2015. Beginning in 2015, PTCB will require CPhTs to earn only pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit to qualify for recertification. Pharmacy technicians may recertify in 2015 using any P credits already earned in 2014, but will no long be able to earn Pharmacist only or P-specific CPE for future recertification beginning January 2015. In addition, PTCB will reduce the number of allowable CPE hours earned through in-service training from 10 to 5. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this pending change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most of our CPE programming.

CPE Monitor: When registering for this program, you will be required to provide your NABP e-Provile ID # and Birthday.  Visit www.ichpnet.org/cpemonitor/ for information about CPE Monitor and how to obtain your NABP ID.
