Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:

1. Outline the recommended maintenance therapies for asthma.
2. Review appropriate pharmacologic management of acute asthma exacerbations.
3. Discuss recent updates to the guidelines for asthma treatment and supporting literature.

      Attendees must complete a program evaluation and CPE submission online at www.CESally.com. After successful CPE submission to CPE Monitor, attendees may print their statements of continuing pharmacy education credit at NABP.pharmacy.

      Target Audience: This knowledge-based activity was developed for Health-System Pharmacists

      PTCB requires CPhTs to submit 20 hours of pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to qualify for recertification. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.
