Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:

1. Review the revised heart failure (HF) classification system and primary prevention strategies in the 2022 guidelines.
2. Outline the current guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) for a patient with heart failure.
3. Discuss additional pharmacotherapy treatment options in patients with worsening HF already on GDMT.

      Attendees must complete a program evaluation and CPE submission online at www.CESally.com. After successful CPE submission to CPE Monitor, attendees may print their statements of continuing pharmacy education credit at NABP.pharmacy.

      Target Audience: This knowledge-based activity was developed for Health-System Pharmacists

      PTCB requires CPhTs to submit 20 hours of pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to qualify for recertification. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.
