Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:

1. Discuss the updated treatment algorithm for Clostridioides difficile infection.
2. Recognize potential concerns in a patient's treatment regimen upon transitions of care.
3. Identify appropriate pharmacological therapies for patients with Clostridioides difficile infection.

      Target Audience: This knowledge-based activity was developed for Health-System Pharmacists

      PTCB requires CPhTs to submit 20 hours of pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to qualify for recertification. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.

      CPE Monitor: When registering for this program, you will be asked to provide your NABP e-Provile ID # and Birthday. This information will be required by any participants seeking CPE credit.  Visit www.ichpnet.org/cpemonitor/ for information about CPE Monitor and how to obtain your NABP ID.
