However, you must still complete the check-out process to register. The cost for non-members to attend is $20. You may attend once as a non-member for free but thereafter must join ICHP as a member.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:

1. Describe the mechanism of action of COVID-19 vaccines.
2. Outline the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines currently available through an emergency use authorization in the United States.
3. Describe safety profiles for all available COVID-19 vaccines currently authorized in the US.

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacy technician participants should be able to:

1. Describe storage and administration requirements for the approved COVID-19 vaccines.
2. Explain proper reporting procedures for vaccine related adverse events with regards to COVID-19 vaccines.
3. Recognize reputable resources for COVID-19 vaccine information.

      Target Audience: This knowledge-based activity was developed for Health-System Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians

      PTCB requires CPhTs to submit 20 hours of pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to qualify for recertification. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.
