The Adverse Health Care Event Reporting Code (Public Act 410 ILCS 522) will go into effect shortly.  Pharmacies within hospitals across Illinois may be involved in the reporting and corrective activities associated with this Act.  Below are links to the Act itself and the draft rules which should be approved potentially with some modifications in the next few months.  These links are provided for your information and education.
