Learning ObjectivesAt the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify health threatening challenges and misconceptions around communicating with and treating patients with mental illness.
2. Assess the complex requirements of patients with PTSD, depression, and elderly cognitive decline.
3. Apply knowledge of PTSD, depression, and elderly cognitive decline management to provide appropriate and competent patient care.
4. Analyze an interprofessional team-based care model to care for patients with PTSD, depression, and elderly cognitive decline.
