ICHP's Mission Statement

The mission of ICHP is to support and advance the practice of pharmacy so patients may receive the best results from their medication therapy.

ICHP's Vision Statement

ICHP dedicates itself to achieving a vision of pharmacy practice where:

• Pharmacists are universally recognized as health care professionals and providers of health care services to their patients
• The role of a pharmacist in the care and wellness promotion of each patient  is an essential component of health care,
• Patients are aware of the training, skills, and abilities of a pharmacist and the role the pharmacist plays in the maintenance and improvement of health.
• Excellence in patient care is advanced by policy development facilitated through interactions with patients,  governmental agencies, healthcare administrators, professional organizations, employers and other concerned parties,
• Safe and cost-effective medication therapy for patients  is achieved using evidence-based models,
• There is an adequate level of qualified leaders within the pharmacy profession,  and
• Members receive useful benefits and services including education, communication and information exchange that assist in the continuous improvement of patient care.
